Fan-Made Sailor Moon Titles
Sailor Moon Says
Sailor Moon fans have demonstrated incredible dedication and creativity since the very beginning.
Many games featured in this section are unfinished, and will likely never be finished. We encourage you to enjoy them for
what they are. Who knows? Maybe that game was begun to inspire you to finish your own!
Many games in this section may require the installation of specific RPG Maker Run Time Packages (RTPs)
You can find official downloads for all of these from the RPG Maker Website.
Did we miss something? Let us know by submitting a game on the Video Games Main Page.
Fantasy Anime
Sailor Moon Another Story is technically an Official Title, however being the one and only official Sailor Moon RPG has awarded it several fan-made enhancements over the years.
We were originally going to create a page specifically for all of that, but wouldn't you know it already exists? Not to mention, it's beautifully done.
There, you'll find the original game translation, the updated translation, and a patch that allows you to replace the sound track of the game with a fully orchestrated version. Oh, game guides, scans, etc. They've got it all.

Sprite Team
This game is available for purchase from the creators.
We have personally purchased from the link above, and can confirm that you receive exactly what is stated in the description. Three versions of the game, each having their own play-ability merits. Be sure to check system requirements before making any purchases.
Sprite Team is a group of developers from Japan, who created several Sailor Moon video games. Most of them were released for Sharp X68000, an almost unknown outside of Japan computer.
Available Senshi: Eternal Sailor Moon, Sailor Mars, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, Sailor Chbi Moon, Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Pluto and Sailor Saturn.
Each character has her own set of special attacks, described in a help file, distributed along with the game.
The price works out to less than $10 USD total.
WindSeaBlood & PassionFlame
This is a very unique and beautiful game made with RPG Maker XP, that centers around Haruka & Michiru. It is inspired by events from the Anime, and the spin off musicals known as Sera Myu.
The game features personalized graphics, a side-view turn based battle system, and compelling cut scenes. While the game is far shorter than any of us would like, it is a wonderful showing of creativity and love for Sailor Moon, and especially for Haruka & Michiru.
This game is considered completed, and has credits that scroll after the final cut scene. It is unlikely to see any more official work, but never say never!

Tyler of SMRPG Net
The Lost Soldier and The Moon Child were created using the RPG Maker platform, and feature many of the Sailor Soldiers in a turn-based battle style magical adventure.
These games were created by Tyler in the mid 2000s, and had several iterations of official websites which are no longer accessible today.
The game utilizies original sprites, and those taken from official Sailor Moon games such as Sailor Moon Another Story and the Sailor Moon S and Super S fighter games released by Nintendo.
These are some of the better fan-made RPGs for Sailor Moon of their time due to how much game-play is actually available in each game. Moon Star favorites!

Moon Blossom
Celestial Ocean is an RPG maker that Moon Blossom developed and released in 2009. The maps rely heavily on the RPG maker RTP, but the events are well thought out and engaging, and the game play itself is quite fun.
This is a very solid Sailor Moon fan game, especially one made during this time.
The game features Usagi as your protagnoist, with the four Inner scouts joining her in her search for the Moon Princess.
The game is made with RPG Maker VX . It was stated that all sprites were made personally by Moon Blossom. The story covers content from both the Manga and Anime.

Venus Love Whip
This RPG covers the Rainbow Crystals arc of the first season of Sailor Moon. This game has not been completed, but has a very fun playable demo which we will link below.
The music did not all seem to come directly from Sailor Moon, yet somehow fit the vibe of the game perfectly. It reminded us of some early Harvest Moon tracks.
The game creator originally posted about it here in 2013. They were responsive for several years, fixing bugs and providing updates to fans. The last activity on this thread was in 2017.
While it has been some time, perhaps the creator will find the inspiration to continue the project again some day. We would love to see it.

Super Nintendo - September 22nd, 1995
The first, and as of the year 2023, the only official Sailor Moon RPG ever created. The game play can be compared to similar RPGs of its time, and the story takes place some time between Sailor Moon S and Sailor Moon Super S. Includes elements from both the anime & manga.
We cannot even begin to count the amount of hours we've put into this game over the years. Did you know that in the original translation, there was no indication that Sailor Mercury's Shabon Spray had any additional effects? Fire Thunder Shaking: An Old Man??? This is the number one Moon Star Favorite for us without a doubt.
